I dont understand lethal control managers

Why culling hasn't worked in the last 200 years and only created a mess!

Shoot, trap or poison dingoes and you will have just as many again within a year. You see by killing the alpha pair in a group, other pairs will form and reproduce. It is at this time, lone dingoes-domestic dogs and hybrids will move into mate, young dingoes will start having offspring sooner, the litter sizes will grow, pack members disperse into new territories and hyperpredation occurs.

When you destabalise the hierarchical social structure of a dingo pack, this leads to hybridisation, hyper-predation and pack dispersal to set up new territories and find new breeding partners. If we left dingoes and their hybrids alone and cease lethal control, nature would take its course and they would slowly regain their genetic integrity and transform back to a pure state within a few years. Stable dingo packs, if left alone, will help reduce hybridisation with domestic-feral dogs, as it is dingoes segregated from a pack that are most likely to breed with dogs. It's unlikely that a dog would be able to penetrate a stable dingo family pack.
