In areas where the dingo has been eradicated, there has been an alarming build up of grass eating species, indicating the importance of the role played by our native dingoes.

Far from being vermin, dingoes sustain biodiversity and help land managers control invasive species.

They are key elements in the struggle to reduce damage caused by kangaroos, foxes, feral cats and other introduced species.

Dingoes control kangaroo populations without the culling and suppress foxes, feral cats and other feral species. That's why ecosystems with dingoes have better vegetation and more diverse and abundant populations of small native mammals....
